Tour description: We depart the cruise ship pier and make our way to the Block House and Shirley Heights, which is the most scenic location on Antigua. At Shirley Heights you can view Nelson Dockyard, Falmouth and English Harbor down below and on a clear day you can also view Guadeloupe and the volcanic island of Montserrat. Montserrat is approximately 25 miles south of Antigua and Guadeloupe is approximately 40 miles south of Antigua. If conditions are suitable we then make our way to Halfmoon bay for our first snorkeling stop. We'll spend about 45 minutes to an hour at Halfmoon bay beach. We then travel to the Northeast of the island where we locate the breathtaking Devil’s Bridge. I usually spend 10 to 15 minutes at Devil’s Bridge. After departing Devil’s Bridge we make our way to our second snorkeling beach, Longbay Beach, which is just about 7 minutes from Devil’s Bridge. There are coral reefs about 100 yards from the shore. After entering the water it doesn’t take long before you start seeing fishes feeding around the reef. We will be at Longbay Beach for about 45 minutes to an hour.
